Portable Recorders
UCR Multimedia has digital recorders for checkout. These recorders can be checked out for an entire quarter.
We use the Olympus DM-20 recorder with a wired lapel microphone.
These recorders include a carry pouch and lapel microphone. In addition, Multimedia staff will provide a set of batteries and software necessary for downloading the audio files.
Steps:
- Schedule a Podcast for your course
- Check out portable digital recorder
- Install software on instructor computer
- Use recorder for all lectures/meetings
- Download audio file to instructor computer
- Upload audio file using the podcast web interface
